It's dead like most places outside of the overpass. I don't understand why gander even has 2 malls, no theater In either and the new/best place to eat,Swiss chalet, isn't in either. If it wasn't for DR Chung I wouldn't ever go there.
Excellent fish and chips at Chan's.
They are renovating. Instead of waiting for all materials they tore up the floor and waited weeks before they started to lay new tile. Still waiting.
There is not much to shop for here. What is here though such as the grocery store and Ches's fish and chips is pretty good,
Know to locals as "The old mall" is a grand shopping center, currently the main service here now is Government of Newfoundland and Labrador!
